Whole Human Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, our Signal Check form, and our Steady State newsletter, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:

• Signal Check form. When you complete the Signal Check, we collect your email address and your answers to the form’s questions. Some answers may describe your work patterns, stress, recovery, or general wellbeing.

• Newsletter signup. When you subscribe to Steady State (steadystatehq.substack.com), you give your email address and, optionally, your name.

• Direct contact. If you email us or book a conversation, we collect what you choose to share.

Information collected automatically:
Our website and service providers may collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site, through cookies or similar tools. [e.g., Google Analytics]

3. How we use your information

• To send you the Steady State newsletter and related updates you signed up for

• To review your Signal Check responses and, if you ask, follow up about coaching

• To respond to your questions

• To understand, in aggregate, how people use the site so we can improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

4. Service providers we use

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run our services. Each processes your data under its own privacy policy:

• Substack: hosts the Steady State newsletter and manages subscriber emails. Substack’s own privacy policy also applies to your subscription: https://substack.com/privacy

• Tally (Tally.so): hosts the Signal Check form and stores form responses. https://tally.so/help/privacy-policy

• [Email or scheduling tools, Acuity]

These providers may store data on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.

5. Health and wellbeing information

Signal Check responses may include information about your wellbeing. We collect it only with your consent when you submit the form, use it only to understand your situation and respond to you, and never sell or share it for marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. How long we keep your information

• Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe

• Signal Check responses: up to 24 months after submission, or until you ask us to delete them

• Correspondence: as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep a record

7. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from Steady State at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

• Access, correct, or delete your information by emailing shigs@wholehumanstudio.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.

• Depending on where you live (for example, California, Washington, the EU, or the UK), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we hold, to request deletion, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. We honor these requests regardless of where you live.

8. Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Turning them off may affect some site features.

9. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, notify subscribers by email.
